Van has been making and repairing jewellery for over 30 years.
Starting work with Zamels in the jewellery making operation in 1980, Van gained a huge amount of experience and was ready in 1996 to open his own store.

In 1996 Van opened his own stall - Van's Jeweller - at the South Melbourne Market. For nearly two decades he has been making and repairing jewellery for loyal customers from all over Melbourne.
He prides himself on his quick service and 'while you wait' repairs, and knows that there are very few businesses that can offer this service.
“Some people don’t feel comfortable leaving their expensive jewellery to be sent off for repair - so they like that they can bring it to me and I’ll fix it while they wait”
